Udit has over 34 years of deep and diverse experience, including over 30 years in Banking, mainly in the areas of project and structured finance, asset financing, corporate banking, contractors’ financing financial advisory, syndications and Agency Services. His specific strengths include structuring of project finance transactions, risk analysis and allocation, negotiation of documentation and supervision / management of project and structured finance portfolio. Over the years, he has been actively involved in a number of large and complex transactions relating to the utilities sector (power, water, district cooling etc), hydrocarbons (oil and gas, LNG etc), petrochemicals, metals, shipping and aviation in the GCC.
Prior to moving to GIB in 2007, he had worked with leading banks in multiple jurisdictions, e.g., UAE, Oman and India, playing key roles in structuring and financing and of a number of high-value and high-profile transactions.
