As part of the Infrastructure and Project Finance team, Sofia covers middle east and north African issuers, predominantly in the Oil&Gas, power, water, and transportation sectors. Based in Dubai, Sofia follows closely the trends in the region and remains at the forefront of the middle east project finance space.
Prior to joining S&P, Sofia spent 8 years in the Structured Finance team within Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank in Paris where she participated in numerous transactions in the MENA region with a focus on power and water assets.
Sofia graduated from University Paris Dauphine where she obtained her Master’s degree in Economics and Financial Engineering as well as her Bachelor in Economy. Sofia is fluent in French, English and Arabic.
