Lusanda is a Syndicate Specialist at Absa. She is responsible for local currency Bond syndication focusing on South Africa and Southern Africa Debt Capital Markets. she has over 16 years of Financial Services experience. she joined the Absa debt Syndication team in May 2021. Prior to that she spent over 3 years at STANLIB as a Client Fund Manager within the Corporate and Institutional Distribution team with responsibility for marketing STANLIB funds to corporate and institutional Clients.
Lusanda commenced her career at Nedbank in 2007 where she held several roles as a Credit Analyst, Credit Manager and Corporate Banker before moving into a DCM distribution function. Lusanda subsequently enjoyed a 2-year stint in the Treasury team at DBSA before joining STANLIB in 2017.
She is a CFA charterholder and holds Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
