Actis
Javier Orellana is a Principal with Actis. Javier joined Actis in early 2017 and is based in Mexico City, where he is responsible for covering the firm’s energy investments in Latin America. He has worked on Actis’ investments in Atlas Renewable Energy (Actis’ Latin America solar generation platform), Saavi Energia (one of the largest independent power producers in Mexico) and Zuma Energia (Actis’ wind and solar energy platform in Mexico). Prior to joining Actis, Javier was a Management Consultant with McKinsey’s Global Energy & Materials and Strategy practices, where he focused on energy and infrastructure in Latin America. Javier holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from CIDE in Mexico City.
