James Bejjani

Biography

James is Director at Broadgate Advisers. He has over 16 years of experience in Portfolio Management in the US, Europe and the GCC. He has worked as a Portfolio Manager at several financial institutions and is an expert in bonds and other debt-related investments. His areas of expertise span across a range of asset classes including Asset-Back Securities, Financial Derivatives and Private Debt.

James joined Broadgate Advisers from M1 Group, a single-family office based in Beirut, where he was leading M1’s Fixed Income investment activities and a member of the portfolio management investment committee. Prior to that, James was a Trader and Analyst at Macquarie Funds Group in the US responsible for managing a multi-billion-dollar portfolio for institutional clients. Previously, James was an Associate Director at UBS Investment Bank in New York where he was an Institutional Investor-ranked research analyst.



James earned his MS in Financial Mathematics from Warwick Business School in the UK, his BA in Economics and minor Mathematics from the American University of Beirut and his double LLB degree in Private and Public Law from Saint Joseph University, Lebanon. He also completed an executive program in Investment Management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
