James Bejjani

Biography

James is responsible for M1 Capital’s Fixed Income investment activities and initiatives. He is a Fixed Income Manager at M1 Group and a member of the investment committee team.

Prior to joining M1 Capital in 2011, James was a Fixed Income Trader at Macquarie Funds Group (US) from 2008 to 2011 where he managed and oversaw a multibillion dollar portfolio of structured credit products. James was also a member of the firm’s Fixed Income research team, responsible for developing and executing investment strategies.

Before joining Macquarie, James was an Associate Director of Investment Research at UBS Investment Bank (US). While at UBS, he was an II-ranked analyst (Institutional Investor) and a member of the top-ranked mortgage strategy team responsible for researching and generating trade ideas through regularly published strategy notes. He began his career as a quantitative analyst in the Capital Markets Group of MIAC, an Investment Advisor based in New York.

James received his Bachelor of Economics from the American University of Beirut, his double Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Private and Public Law from Saint Joseph University, and his MSc in Financial Mathematics from Warwick Business School. He also completed an executive program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
