Biography

Diako Makhmalbaf is a Director in HSBC’s ESG Solutions Team, a cross-Capital Markets unit supporting HSBC’s clients on sustainable finance and ESG considerations. Before joining HSBC, Diako spent a decade in sustainability consulting with PwC in Australia and the Middle East. Diako represents HSBC at the DFM Sustainable Finance Working Group and the ADGM Sustainable Finance Working Group, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from The University of Melbourne, and a Masters in Corporate Sustainability and Environmental Management from Monash University.
