With almost 25 years of experience in Finance, M&A, Advisory and Fund Management, Blanca has actively participated in the execution of more than USD$6.5 billion in debt and equity financings for real estate and infrastructure projects in several countries of Latin America, Mexico and the US.
Currently, Blanca is CFO of Grupo Marhnos, a leading developer and operator of real estate and infrastructure assets. In Marhnos, Blanca leads a multidisciplinary team to structure and finance projects in the sectors of social infrastructure (schools and hospitals), highways and real estate. In addition, Blanca oversees the structuring, execution and management of various investment vehicles including a CKD listed in the Mexican Stock Exchange, a Private Equity Fund for investment in multifamily in the US and two investment platforms, one in Guatemala for highways and the other in Peru for schools.
Before Marhnos, Blanca has participated in several management capacities in the Banyan Tree Mexico Hospitality Fund, Real Capital Investment Management, GE Real Estate Mexico, AEW Capital Management and Beacon Properties.
Blanca participates as an independent member of the technical committee of Fibra Educa since its issuance in 2018 and currently is also an independent member of the industrial CKD ODOCK18.
Blanca is a Cornell University alumni, she holds degrees in Architecture and Urban Design and she has also pursued several studies in finance and real estate.
Blanca is a past Chair of ULI Mexico and is currently participating in the Advisory and Governance Boards.
