Asanda Tsotsi is currently the Head of Project & Export Finance at Standard Bank. The Project & Export Finance division is charged with financing long term Real Infrastructure assets such as Roads, Hospitals, Ports, Railways, Power Stations, Oil and Gas and Renewable Energy projects amongst others.
Asanda qualified as a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and has over 16 years Banking experience, with the last ten years spent in Project & Export Finance.
Asanda has been involved in a number of Project & Export Finance transactions in the Mining, Energy and Infrastructure sectors, including: Mozambique LNG (Area 1), The Nacala Corridor, Ethiopian Electric Power, Transnet GE locomotives, Cenpower in Ghana, Bulyanhulu Gold Mine Ltd transaction in Tanzania; Government of Tanzania infrastructure projects, Banco de Poupançae Crédito, S.A.R.L. infrastructure projects transaction and RRL Grindrod Sierra Leone locomotive transaction in Sierra Leone to name a few.
