Alarik d'Ornhjelm joined Deutsche Bank France in 2007 as Head of Structured Trade & Export (STEF) Finance team before moving to Dubai as Head of STEF Middle East & Africa in September 2014.
Alarik has 23 years of banking experience of which 16 years in STEF. He has played the roles of a Deal Team Leader / Advisor / Arranger on various multi bn USD / Euro financing facility projects in Middle East and Africa using different ECAs, DFIs and commercial loans for various infrastructure projects including energy, water, universities, roads or hospital projects. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, he has held various roles in HSBC including Global Trade Finance, Pre-export finance for commodities and Receivables purchase program. He holds a degree from ESSCA, French business school.
