Biography

Akosua is currently the Head of Loan Solutions and Syndications at Bank of Africa UK. In this role, Akosua is responsible for the origination, structuring and distribution of syndicated loans across a a wide range of sectors in Sub-Saharan Africa. She leads a team that coordinates all the hard currency lending of the Bank of Africa Group. Prior to this role, she was a senior Relationship Manager within the Loan Solutions and Syndications team managing a portfolio of assets across Sub-Saharan Africa. She started her career as an Investment Banking Generalist in the Pan-African Investment Bank, Databank Financial Services where provided advisory services to clients including M&A advisory, IPOs, Private Placements and Bond Issuances. Akosua moved to Deloitte West Africa where she focused solely on M&A transactions advisory services, where she advised international companies looking to expand into Africa. In 2019, Akosua joined Bank of Africa in their London Office after completing her MBA.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine; and an MBA from the Alliance Manchester Business School
