Biography

Adolfo Villarreal joined Société Générale in 2014 to overlook the entire Natural Resources practice. He is currently working for the Energy Group focused on the Renewables, Power and Oil & Gas sectors. Before joining SG he was VP of Capital Markets at Rabobank and was in charge of securitizations, syndicated loans and 144A issuances. Prior to Rabobank, Adolfo spent 6 years in the DCM team of Scotiabank focused on securitization and plain vanilla bonds.

Adolfo’s recent experience include:

• Glenfarne’s bank and bond refinancing of its portfolio (including PMGD assets) in Chile, Colombia and Panama
• ARCO’s solar and wind assets in Chile, Atlas Renewables’
• La Pimienta solar project in Mexico,
• Ardian and Solarpack’s portfolio of solar projects in Peru (Project Inti)
• Hudson Sustainable Investments refi of a portfolio of solar assets in Uruguay via a USPP
• NEOEN’s El Llano PV project in Mexico,
• Monterra’s refined products storage facility
• Dragado’s gas compression plant (CAKUA).

Adolfo has a Bachelors in Economics from ITESM; a Master in Finance from Universidad de Alcalá in Madrid, Spain; and is a CFA charter holder since 2012.
