Peter has been working in the loan markets since 1995 and has extensive experience in Syndicate and Loan Sales and Trading. Prior to joining BTMU, Peter had lengthy spells initially at Bankgesellschaft Berlin (6 years) where he was predominantly focused on FI and CEE borrowers and then ABN AMRO (4 years) where he had responsibility for distribution of investment grade European corporate transactions and for Central and Eastern European borrowers.
In 2005 Peter joined BTMU and is now Head of Loan Sales and Trading with responsibility for primary and secondary asset sales and marketing for the banks EMEA syndicated loan franchise. Peter also manages the banks proprietary secondary loan trading activities which also focuses predominantly on EMEA domiciled assets. Peter has extensive experience in Europe placing debt across a wide range of debt products including investment grade corporate, acquisition finance, commodity finance and project finance segments both on a primary and secondary basis. In addition to mainstream Europe, Peter has had extensive experience in CIS, Middle Eastern and African syndicated lending and has notably been instrumental in arranging several loans for KMG (and related entities) and SK and Cote D’Ivoire as well as numerous high profile Middle Eastern loans..
