Vienna Stock Exchange (Wiener Börse)
Matthias is responsible for the international debt listing business at Vienna Stock Exchange. He joined the exchange in 2017 and since then manages key relationships with legal firms, international investment banks and service providers. His expertise in debt capital markets includes advising on structuring and supporting issuers seeking admission to listing of their debt securities across a wide range of product types.
Prior to joining the company, Matthias successfully ramped up and ran the capital markets business of an Austrian private bank, helping small and medium sized enterprises with their funding needs. In this role he was also involved into the first and to date only contingent convertible bond issued by an Austrian bank.
Matthias holds a BA in Finance, Accounting and Taxation from the University of Applied Sciences Vienna and is a certified stock exchange trader.
