Gabriel Monroy, as Invenergy’s Vice President of Finance for Latin America is responsible for leading financings for all projects in Latin America and supporting Invenergy’s Latin America business development efforts including participation in various energy auctions and M&A transactions. Gabriel has over 16 years of energy industry experience with primary focus on Latin America power industry where he has managed or participated in the development of greenfield projects totaling 1.9 GW of installed capacity and the negotiation and execution of approximately $1.5 billion in financings. Prior to joining Invenergy, Gabriel worked in various M&A, Development and Finance roles at AEI (former Ashmore Energy International) and Enron. He earned a BBA in finance at the University of Texas at Austin.
