Gabriel Buscarini Leutewiler is a partner at Santos Neto Advogados, co-head of the agribusiness, project finance, trade finance, capital markets, OTC and derivatives, real estate, corporate finance and banking departments of the firm. Gabriel is a former in-house counsel at Louis Dreyfus Commodities group and former associate at important Brazilian law firms focused on financial and capital markets (mainly private funds) and corporate law. Gabriel has, amongst others, vast experience in assisting foreign and local investors to structure and implement debt transactions in Brazil, as well as local players to structure securitization transactions in respect of any assets. His overseas assisting differential is on the responsiveness, promptness in identifying and solving problems, providing very personalised services and high level of commitment and availability.
Gabriel has a PHD in Comercial Law at University of São Paulo and master’s degree in contractual law at Université d’Avignon. Gabriel is a speaker in conferences and author of specialised published articles on agribusiness, capital markets, banking and general commercial law.
