Dr. Yasser Gado is APICORP’s Treasurer with a wealth of knowledge in the banking sector that was accumulated over 24 years of experience across Europe and the MENA region. Throughout his career, Dr. Gado held several senior roles, most recently as Treasurer at: the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), National Bank of Kuwait (International) PLC, GHIB Bank, QIB (UK) PLC, and European Finance House in the United Kingdom. Formerly, he held Senior Treasury positions and worked with Qatar Islamic Bank in Doha as well as Banque Misr in France and Egypt. He joined APICORP in 2021 to lead the Treasury and Capital Markets function.
Dr. Gado acquired his PhD in Finance from The University of Liverpool, and is also a holder of a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Bangor University and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Ain Shams University. Dr Gado is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Banker (MCBI), as well as a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (MCSI) in the United Kingdom.
