Degree in economics from the Universidad del Pacifico and master of management by J L Kellogg graduate school management in Northwestern university.
He has led management and senior management development programs at the Universidad de Piura.
With more than 35 years of professional experience he has served as director-president of the risk committee of Banco de la Nacion, as general director of debt and public treasury in the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Peru, and he has also been finance manager at Cofide. He held the position of president of Banco de Comercio until January 2019, and has been corporate finance manager for Petroperu.
In addition to being the current president of ALIDE, he is also a member of the Peruvian mining and energy committee for Proinversion.
