Biography

Carlos Gradim, 57 years old, is currently Director of Treasury and Shared Services at Biosev S.A., a leading sugar and ethanol producer in Brazil, controlled by global commodities giant Louis Dreyfus Group and based in São Paulo, where he oversees all treasury functions as well as a number of other administrative control and support activities at the company’s Shared Services Center.

An economist by training, in the past ten years he has held several management positions in Finance and Controllership at companies such as Votorantim Siderurgia and BR Properties. Before that, he was a partner for five years at management consulting boutique Valora Participações, after a 20-plus years’ career in Brazilian and international financial institutions such as Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Banco Santander and Banco Pactual.
