Ben Shorten is a Partner at Shearman & Sterling, a global elite law firm. He is based in Singapore and serves as our Project Development & Finance Team Leader for Asia. Ben is a core member of our Global Hydrogen Industry Legal Team, most notably as part of the senior leadership team advising NEOM on a joint venture with ACWA Power and Air Products to develop a $5 billion green hydrogen-based ammonia production facility in Saudi Arabia. This is the world’s largest renewable hydrogen project and a first-of-its-kind investment in the world.
