Antonio is a Director at BNP Paribas’ mining finance team, based in New York. He has over 22 years of banking and mining corporate development experience, including project finance, corporate debt and commodity finance. Prior to BNP Paribas, Antonio was Executive Director at WestLB’s Metals and Mining team with tenures in New York and Sao Paulo, where he was responsible for the origination and execution of structured debt transactions in the mining sector, holding coverage responsibility over the Andean Region. As a mining executive, Antonio acted as founding director and CFO of publicly listed and private mineral development companies with assets in Peru, Colombia and Chile. He holds a BBA from Universidad de Sevilla and an MBA from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid. He is fluent in English and Portuguese and is a native speaker of Spanish.
