Biography

Ankit is responsible for African Sovereign and DFI coverage at MUFG. With over 15 years’ of experience he has been involved in many high profile financing across Africa. Over the past few years, his focus has been to deliver competitive long term financing for African borrowers, leveraging MUFG’s structured finance expertise and global distribution platform to access new sources of liquidity with strategic support from African DFIs, global MDBs, ECAs and other risk mitigation providers. Ankit has lead various award-winning transactions MUFG has executed over the past few years using our Blended finance platform to finance critical infrastructure across the continent – both Sovereign financing and Project bond.
