Ahmad Abu Eideh is the Chief Executive Officer of
United Arab Bank, he joined the bank in March 2019
bringing more than 27 years of extensive banking
experience. His prime responsibilities are the
management and strategic direction of the bank’s
business segments and functions to ensure the
highest levels of Corporate Governance and Risk
Management.
Before joining United Arab Bank he was the Chief Executive Officer of
Standard Chartered Bank Middle East (Jordan, Iraq, Egypt and Lebanon) from
October 2015. He joined Standard Chartered Bank Jordan in November 2010
as CEO Jordan, and prior to that he held other prominent positions in several
international and regional banks, for which he spent 15 years in the UAE. He
has an extensive experience in Corporate and Investment Banking and
maintains well rounded expertise in all other disciplines of banking.
Ahmad graduated from Yarmouk University in Jordan and holds a degree in
Economics with a minor in Finance & Banking awarded in 1992. He attended
the Amman Baccalaureate School, from the day it opened in 1981 and
graduated Alumni Class of 1988.
He was born on 10 December 1969, married with 2 boys aged 17 and 12,
both of whom attend ABS grades 12 and 7.
